Film producer Harvey Weinstein has formally pleaded not guilty to rape and sexual assault charges at New York Supreme Court.

The charges relate to two women, one who claims she was sexually assaulted in 2004, and a second who alleges she was raped in 2013.

The 66-year-old - who has, via his lawyer, previously "unequivocally denied" non-consensual sex - could face a jail term up to 25 years if convicted.

Weinstein - who is represented by lawyer Benjamin Brafman - is currently wearing a GPS tracker and has surrendered his passport as part of a $1 million (£750,000) bail agreement.

The mogul is still under investigation in London, LA and by the US federal government.
