Roma was the big winner at the Critics Choice Awards which were announced in New York last night, taking four awards in total including Best Picture and Best Director for Alfonso Cuarón. After receiving an impressive 14 nominations, The Favourite won only two. It came as little surprise that it won Best Acting Ensemble and Olivia Colman being named Best Actress in a Comedy strengthens her position in this year's Oscar race. Meanwhile, Golden Globe winner Christian Bale took both Best Actor in a Comedy and the overall Best Actor award from his work in Vice.
