Bryan Singer, the X-Men director who recently made headlines after reportedly failing to show up on set when directing Bohemian Rhapsody, is facing allegations of sexual assault today after four men spoke out in an article in The Atlantic. All four allegations refer to incidents said to have occurred when the men were underage, with one of them just 13 years old when Apt Pupil was filmed at his school.

Singer has denied the allegations, speaking through his legal representative, Andrew Brettler.

In 2017, Singer denied an accusation of rape made by another man in a lawsuit which was subsequently withdrawn.
