Battle of the titans: Oppenheimer, Barbie, Poor Things and Killers Of The Flower Moon

Barbie, Oppenheimer and Killers Of The Flower Moon and leading the BAFTA race this year, with 15 nods apiece on the longlists announced today. With Poor Things on 14, the stage is set for a clash between titans, but there are plenty of other, smaller films which could still deliver surprise results.

The longlists, which were developed to clarify voter options and as part of an effort to improve diversity, will give way to shorter lists of formal nominations on 18 January. The winners will then be announced on 18 February, in a ceremony to be hosted by David Tennant.
