The Evia Film Project will return for its third edition, from July 2nd to 6, in Edipsos, Limni, and Agia Anna, focusing on water as its core theme. This year's festival will be attended by Turkish filmmaker Emin Alper and director and animator Fokion Xenos among others.

The green initiative, launched by Thessaloniki Film Festival will see water resources take centrestage. Sustainability, screenings, children’s workshops, and open discussions are set to take place with all screenings and events free and open to the general public.

Burning Days director Alper will be among those giving a masterclass at this year's festival, which began as a rejuvenation response to the devastating wildfires which hit the island in 2021. Heatwave animator Xenos will also give a masterclass, as well as musician Kostis Maraveyas, interdisciplinary artist Yoland Markopoulou and scriptwriter Katerina Bei.
