The avatar in question here seems to be a cross-over of the classical definitions. He's computer-generated and powers through space, possibly on a God-like mission of protection or vengeance.

The story is somewhat confusing, but quite artistic. Computer-animated rockets hurtle through the void, the avatar roams alongside them, firing weapons at will.

The animation is neatly realised - although, the avatar seems to be wearing Y-fronts over a pair of fishnets underneath his armour, which is slightly disconcerting (I blame myself). There is some disjointedness in the movement but this is a minor quibble. Enjoyable enough but a bit light on plot.
