Bundy

All I can say is that the EIFF programmer who wrote this must either have seen a different film, or possesses minimal experience of psycho films.

Fair enough, the exploitation genre as a whole thrives on hyperbole. The film that delivers on - or better, goes beyond - its advertising promises is a rare commodity. But this piece of Channel 5 grade trash is, quite frankly, an insult to the intelligence of the true genre enthusiast.

Bundy is bland and calculatedly inoffensive. There is no explicit sex or violence to get excited about. Matthew Bright's direction isn't and Tom Savini's FX aren't.

Michael Reilly Burke does displays a nice line in twitches as our titular hero, though compared to David Hess, Michael Rooker - or even Steve Railsback - he's a lightweight.

Don't waste your time with this garbage.
