Cleaning

Like fellow short Four Weeks Notice, in December’s Shoot First, Cleaning is a punchline strapped into a film.
We watch a man talk about his day as a cleaner in the mockumentary style so beloved of directors on a budget, until the pay off line comes. All of which is fine but doesn’t really elevate this to more than a fairly good joke, executed competently.
That said, the set up is swift and the punchline witty, with not too much time taken to get from one to the other.
