Cry For Bobo

Cry For Bobo

This is a brilliantly funny, rather bizarre slapstick on the "wretched life of a clown". Stylised and extremely silly, it plays with the full clown kit.

The leads - most of whom are just about recognisable under the greasepaint, as the team behind television's Velvet Soup - take everything just seriously enough for it to work and their nemesis Keystone cops, whom traditionally I hate only slightly more than clowns, are even great.

A thoroughly enjoyable bit of nonsensical whimsy.
