European Shorts 2
Reviewed by: Amber Wilkinson
Howard Jones - for those of us old to remember - once asked: "What is love anyway?". If the answer is: "Tough to get started, filled with betrayal and fraught with tragedy." then it can be found in this selection of shorts from Europe.
All of these shorts are impressive in their own way and yet as a whole they form a particularly heavy slice of cinema that many will find a tough task to watch. The shorts included are:
Les Amours Perdus - Three people look for love.
Marilena From P7 - a 13-year-old boy tries to impress a prostitute.
Penpusher - A stroke of genius leads to introductions on a train.
A Very Small Trilogy Of Loneliness - Three perspectives on a situation.
