Hibernation
Reviewed by: Amber Wilkinson
A quirky animated intro gives way to an increasingly unsettling, darkly comic story of a boy who is in "hibernation".
His pals, dressed up as fancy dress animals, are hard at work in their tree house, trying to reanimate a bee - the plan beeing (sorry) that they will move on to bigger things.
They need more power and break into a shop for batteries... but who is in the sinister parked car?
John Williams (director) and Andy Gordon (writer) cleverly applies children's logic to adult events but, in the end, the film is almost too full of ideas for its own good.
