Photo Session
Reviewed by: Scott Macdonald
Two middle-aged Austrians go for a photo shoot. They're obviously comfortable with one another, even sliding in a sneaky passionate kiss between each photograph. The film is silent, and hence we are not privy to their shared chit-chat. They have two setups before the film ends. We see their resultant pictures - they show so little of the affection that is obvious and apparent within five seconds of meeting them. If photographs are infinitesimally small slices of time captured, the movies give us that additional dimensionality that turns them into real, living and breathing people.
