Rendezvous

This film is as odd as Scottish paella. A man and women in bygone outfits, splash about in the sea beneath the skeletal remains of Brighton's West Pier.
The film has a faded look that is nicely rendered and the pier is used to good effect. If, however, you're looking for meaning, though forget it.
The people paddle about, then sit and put a heart in a mincer - at least, I think it was a mincer. It might not even have been a heart. There's an interesting soundtrack called cobwebs and vinegar. That's the what. There is no why - it seems to have sunk without trace.
Out to own as part of the Final Cut: Take Three DVD short film collection.
