This is an experimental film, shot in grainy black-and-white, partly mimicking footage from the turn of the century. It cuts from image to image in segments, overlaid by a haunting soundtrack by David Shea.
What happens? Hard to say, really.
The publicity notes quote Sigmund Freud ("Everywhere I go I find a poet has been there before me"), which is about as engaging as having someone called Franz "Wax" Kafka in your cast.
There's also a bizarre interlude in the middle, involving microphones being held up to statues. If only they could talk, eh?
While the style is interesting, there is little point to this and it's about as memorable as a McDonalds.
