This is a small tale of duelling window washers, each created by a different animator. Todd Settler and Dean Wright give us "Ivan", a recent escapee, and "Suds", a window-cleaning robot. With a somewhat sarcastic voiceover that recalls Dangermouse and an opening frame that borrows stylistically from The Powerpuff Girls, there's plenty of homage here. A moving lift plays The Girl From Ipanema (and has anyone ever actually encountered that in real life?) and certain sequences are "censored for national security". Integrating the work of two animators can't have been easy, but the pair are clearly capable of handling the technical challenges, though the split-screens on some occasions might be construed as cheating. While slight (and short) this is still entertaining. With competition from the likes of Battenberg it may not clean up, but it's certainly far from washed up.
