Telling Lies

Telephone conversations are illustrated with animated letters, except they don't always respond to what is being said. The written words tell the truth; the spoken words tell the lies.
The story is not a million miles from what happened on Saturday night. Boy dumps girl at the club after a tiff, goes off with sexy older woman, while dumped girl goes off with boyfriend's best mate.
The morning after phone calls are a catalogue of porky pies, exposed on screen, as the words tell what the speaker is really thinking.
The script by director Simon Ellis is hilarious in a been-there-done-that-God-I-hate-myself kind of way, with excellent vocal performances from a cast of five.
