OK, so you can go on a unicycle. And your point is...?! Why not take the bus like everyone else? Apparently Tom Sutcliffe hates buses. Fair point, but to make a documentary about a Seventies clown trick, is really not that good, is it?

"It's all about finding your own centre of gravity." I can imagine gravity taking its course very quickly if you climbed on one of these. Ouch! If Scotland wants to get healthy, and lose the traffic, then look to Holland: bikes with two wheels. There's the solution. But unicycles? Leave them for the naff clowns in circuses. There's a time and a place for the one-wheeler - the Seventies and not in Edinburgh. He even admits that hills are a nightmare to climb, so why do it?

"It's the way to travel."

I'm not convinced.
