David is a cult film fanatic with a particularly unhealthy appetite for the darker end of the cinematic spectrum. An English/Scottish Lit grad and sometime high-school teacher with writing and film-making aspirations, David cites Tobe Hooper’s The Texas Chain Saw Massacre as the greatest film of all time, followed closely by National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (a perennial classic cruelly denied Oscar glory - Randy Quaid should have been a shoo-in for Best Supporting Actor at least).
When not spreading Harmony Korine’s Trash Humpers gospel or regaling rapt listeners with the unheralded virtues of various celluloid underdogs, David also indulges his passion for music, attending gigs and festivals worldwide and contributing to Soundsphere magazine.
