Neil Mitchell

Neil Mitchell is a writer and editor based in Brighton, East Sussex. He is the editor of the London and Melbourne editions of Intellect Books' World Film Locations series and the co-editor of the Britain edition of the Directory of World Cinema series, also for Intellect Books. He writes for The Big Picture, Electric Sheep, Little White Lies and Rogue Cinema in between watching far too many movies than is probably healthy. A longtime lover of the horror and science fiction genres, he has developed a taste for world cinema, 'arthouse' films and documentaries.

He is currently working on a monograph on Brian De Palma's Carrie for Auteur Publishing - it's the first horror movie he can remember seeing as a kid.
