You couldn't ask for a better DVD package. It's jam-packed with interesting extras, all riddled with cheesy bee puns. If only all sets of extras were this good.

Starting with the weakest, the Pollination Practice game is awkward to play and not much fun. Similarly, the Meet Barry B Benson interview involves clicking the remote every 20 seconds to 'ask' the next question. Some children may enjoy the interactivity, but these two extras will largely be ignored.

Be A Bee is an interactive feature which works better. It's a personality quiz to find out which job in the hive you'd be best suited to. Its interface is easy to use, and consequently it's fun to click through.

The Ow! Meter, The Buzz About Bees and That's Un-Bee-Lievable are aimed at children. They're full of facts and trivia about bees. Educational, yes, but not boringly so. They're perfectly pitched, being detailed enough to be worth looking at, but brief enough so as not to be dull.

The commentary with Jerry Seinfeld and a number of crew members is a joy to listen to. It's the perfect mix of a funny guy being funny, and people discussing the process for making the film. Because it's a computer-animated film, what they have to say aren't just the run of the mill pleasantries you get with many non-animated films. In a similar vein, the cast interviews have the perfect mix of naturally funny people, and people with something worth saying.

In an ideal world, some of the interactive features would be more usable, but all things considered, Bee Movie's DVD offers everything that anyone of any age could want from it.
