Read Keith Dudhnath's film review of Strange WildernessThe picture quality is as clear as you would expect from a recent film. Although the sound quality is equally clear, the surround sound mix is never used to any great effect. Subtitling is all present and correct throughout.
Although there appears to be a large set of extras, they fall firmly into one of two camps: deleted scenes, or Behind The Scenes featurettes, with brief interviews. The look at the animatronic turkey is the most interesting of all the extras, but it doesn't go into enough detail to really warrant a look.
Even with such a feeble film, deleted scenes are always a welcome inclusion. Of these, Cooker's song, which has been singled out, is the closest you'll come to laughing at anything on the disc.
Were the film better, it would be a good, solid, extras package. If you laughed drunkenly at the film, you might laugh drunkenly at the extras.
