New York Mon Amour, A View of French Cinema by Catherine Verret-Vimont, opens at the Furman Gallery at the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s Walter Reade Theatre. The exhibition features photographs of many of the leading lights of French cinema, including Gérard Depardieu, Barbet Schroeder and Jean Reno

Announcing that he is under investigation over his comments at a Cannes press conference earlier this year, Lars von Trier has recently said he will no longer make putblic statements.
