This year's London Israeli film and television festival includes the UK premieres of Rock The Casbah and Igor And The Cranes, a retrospective on the work of Assi Dayan and a special focus on short films made by women. It explores the first and second intifadas and stories of Isrelis and Palestinians coming together in a spirit of cooperation. Contrasting the perspectives of old and young Israel people, it also looks at gay and lesbian issues and the rejection of religious orthodoxy.
