Now in its second year, the Southside Film Festival in Glasgow has undergone a rapid expansion with new venues, a great line-up of events and internationally acclaimed films in its line-up. Thanks in part to the support of local filmmakers and an enthusiastic team of volunteers, it's still mostly free to attend. It runs from 17 to 20 May and will conclude with an awards ceremony.
