New York’s leading LGBTQ+ film festival opens this years with romantic comedy A Nice Indian Boy and features over 140 films, representing 31 countries, which will screen in cinemas throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. It includes 25 première narrative features, 14 documentary features, 9 legacy retrospective features, and more.

55% of the films are directed by women, non-binary, trans or two-spirit filmmakers, with 66% directed by people of colour. 82% of the line-up is by and about historically underrepresented voices and identities within the LGBTQIA+ community

The festival runs from 10 to 22 October.
