The festival is presenting its 52nd edition in 2014. It aims to bring the "most significant films from around the world" to the city. The festival runs from September 26 to October 12.
This year's festival will open with the world premiere of David Fincher's Gone Girl - starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike - and will close with Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu's Birdman Or The Unexpected Virtue Of Ignorance.
This year's retrospective will be Joseph L. Mankiewicz: The Essential Iconoclast.
