The Palm Dog accolade awarded to the best performance by a canine in films across all sections at the Cannes Film Festival has been won by Dixie (played by Lucky) in Matteo Garrone's Arabian Nights from the official Competition selection.

The Jury Prize has been awarded to Bob the Dog played by Jaro and Ryac in The Lobster.

Meanwhile a Special Dogmanitarian Mention goes to Je Suis Un Soldat on behalf of all the poor mistreated pups in the world.
