OFCS Awards nominations announced

Todd Haynes' Carol and Denis Villeneve's Sicario are leading the race for this year's Online Film Critics' Society (OFCS) Awards, as nominations were announced today. Each of them has six nominations including Bet Film and Best Director, plus Carol has secured a Best Actress nomination for Cate Blanchett. Meanwhile, Mad Max: Fury Road and The Martian each have five nominations.

This is the 19th year in which the society, which operates internationally but is based in the US, has given awards. The winners will be announced on December 14.
