The Man Who Killed Don Quixote |
Thierry Frémaux has confirmed that The Man Who Killed Don Quixote will première at the Cannes Film Festival as originally planned, despite legal conflicts. Director Terry Gilliam still plans to attend despite suffering a stroke at the weekend.
The director was released from hospital last night and is recovering at home in London.
Although it has the support of the Cannes team, the film continues to be troubled, with Amazon announcing that they are pulling out of an agreement to distribute it in the US.
