The full line-up for this year's BFI Flare was announced today. The 31st edition of the festival will run entirely online, with films available to view all around the UK and some parts of the shorts programme available internationally. Highlights include Anna Kerrigan's wilderness pursuit drama Cowboys and Eugen Jebeleanu's powerful Romanian tale of life in the closet, Poppy Field.

The London-based events, which runs from 17 to 28 March, will be available to watch on BFI Player and will include LGBTQ+ themed cinema from all around the world. A number of special events are planned to run alongside the films and we will be bringing your further details as they emerge.
