Barbara Crampton, who starred in horror favourites including Re-Animator and From Beyond, will lea the guest line-up at this year's Film4 Frightfest, it was revealed today.

"To say that I am overjoyed, excited and eager to attend FrightFest as a guest is putting it mildly. This festival has been on my radar for some time and to be included and have four films screening is a welcome nightmare from which I hope never to wake," said Crampton, whose new films Sun Choke and Road Games will première at the festival.

Also on the guest list are Braveheart and Trainspotting star James Cosmo, The Descent director Neil Marshall and Eighties pop icon Toyah Willcox, who has recently revived her horror career. Candyman director Bernard Rose will be there to introduce his new take on Frankenstein while Corin Hardy will take a break from work on his remake of The Crow to present The Hallow, which he recently discussed with us. There will also be a visit from Terry Marcel, introducing his memorable sword and sorcery epic Hawk The Slayer.

With other talents including Anna Walton, Naomi Battrick, Steve Oram, Iain Softley, Joanne Mitchell and Rula Lenska, there will be a great deal for fans to look forward to.
