The full programme for this year's Glasgow Film Festival was revealed today, including seven world premières and 102 UK premières. Powerful US drama All Creatures Here Below, the multi-award nominated Eighth Grade and eerie Flannan Isle mystery The Vanishing are among the treats to look forward to at a festival that promises a spectacular line-up of guests, such as Alice Lowe, Matt Bomer, Carlos Acosta, Monty Python alumnus Michael Palin and legendary music video director Lance Bangs.

"Over the years at GFF we have excelled with our Special Events and this year is no exception. The Blair Witch Project at a Secret Location is sure to scare and thrill and don’t forget 'The first rule about Fight Club is: you do not talk about fight club' so you’ll just have to get along and participate,' said festival co-director Allison Gardner, who also expressed her enthusiasm at the high number of films directed by women at this year's festival - in yet another year when the Oscars have failed to nominate any women for the directing award.

The festival will also incorporate the ever-popular Glasgow Frightfest, whose full line-up was announced earlier this month.

The festival will run from 20 February to 3 March and as always, we'll be bringing you extensive coverage here at Eye For Film.
