McGregor will present You Sing Loud, I Sing Louder, in which he stars alongside his daughter, actress and producer Clara who will be present alongside her father.

Described as “a road movie” (directed by Emma Westenberg) the McGregor family offering deals with a father and daughter setting out on a journey filled with unexpected encounters during which they find a way back to each other after a period of alienation.

Clara is credited as a producer, as well as with the story alongside scriptwriter Ruby Caster and producer/actress Vera Bulder. Her father is the film’s executive producer.

Recently Ewan McGregor has been concentrating on TV series including Fargo for which he was named best actor in the Golden Globes and as the eccentric fashion designer Halston in the Netflix series for which he also received a Golden Globe nomination as well as winning an Emmy award.

He reprised the role of space guru Obi-Wan Kenobi in the 2022 series of the same name and currently is filming the mini-series Gentlemen In Moscow, for which he is also producing.

The 57th edition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival runs from 30 June to 8 July.
