Edinburgh International Film Festival enjoyed its 71st edition from June 21 to July 2. In addition to the usual screenings, the Fest in the City free outdoor films ran from June 16-18 in St Andrew Square. The festival opened with God's Own Country - which went on to win the Michael Powell Award - and closed with the world premiere of Morrissey biopic England Is Mine.
