Celebrating its 64th edition in 2010, EIFF is the longest continuously running film festival in the world. It began in 1947 as a champion of documentary films and has expanded to include the full gamut of features, documentaries and short films and is currently under the artistic directorship of Hannah McGill.
The festival will open with Sylvain Chomet's The Illusionist on June 16.
Skeletons won the Michael Powell Award and The Dry Land was named best international feature. Read about all the winners here.
